Proper windy all afternoon...cross-off...head high groundswell...got on lots of waves...should have been a really good session? But for some reason I didn't have the best of days. Not sure why. I never scored the perfect clean multiple bottom-turn wave I was looking for and often it felt like I was "sailing" the waves rather than riding them. The wind was very offshore - did that make it harder to dump power from the rig when on the waves I wonder? Also it didn't help that I was sailing like a twat. I kept on misreading the sets so that I often found myself on the smaller first wave with the better ones just behind me...grrr.

It was still a very good day on the water but not as "epic" as my probably too high expectations had hoped.
